Everest Poker Signs British Poker Pro As Brand Ambassador
Popular British poker professional Sam Trickett has signed a deal with Everest Poker to act as the online poker room’s brand ambassador. Under the terms of the agreement Trickett will make regular appearances at Everest’s online tables as well as their live events. He will also provide coaching to players and provide blog and video updates as he tours the world playing.
Trickett is a successful live tournament player, with over $20 million in career winnings to date. Those winnings include $10 million from the 2012 WSOP event “The Big One For One Drop”, where he came runner up to Antonio Esfandiari. He has also won a number of tournaments around the world and cashed in many more.
So far, though, Trickett has not managed to earn a gold bracelet by winning a World Series of Poker event. He will be trying to put that right this year no doubt, and players at Everest Poker will be right behind him; he will be giving 10% of anything he wins at the WSOP to players at the online poker room as part of a promotion.
“I’m very excited to be joining Everest Poker,” said Trickett in a statement regarding his new position. “I’m looking forward to interacting with our players online and at Everest Poker live events, where I’ll be playing and coaching.”
