This Weeks High Stakes Action
You may be forgiven for thinking that with the World Series of Poker running in the background for the past week that the usual high stakes poker action online might have taken a hit. While it has certainly been a little bit less busy, there has still been a whole load of action with players swapping hundreds of thousands on a regular basis.
The action last week saw a host of big winners on the felt with the likes of Seb “taktloss47” Ruthenberg, “Crazy Elior” Viktor “Isidlur1” Blom and “Carlooo13” bringing in good profits.
Ruthenberg made the biggest score of the week and actually did it on two consecutive days at the online felt. He banked $218k on both Sunday and Monday last week bringing his total profits for the week up to just under $450k.
Viktor Blom on the other hand had a roller coaster week as usual. He secured a good score of $119k on Wednesday before going on to lose it all and more on Thursday with losses of $317k before coming back again on Friday and earning a decent $100k.
As for what this has all done for the results for the year so far, it has left many of the rankings unchanged. Dam “jungleman14” Cates is still topping the profits for the year on $1,355,295 while the likes of Patrick “FinddaGrind” Antonius and Niki Jedlicka are not too far behind him on $1,183,736 and $1,149,684 respectively.
