The third and final Avengers: Endgame trailer has officially dropped. The movie is set to release on April 26th, and it’s still anyone’s guess how the Avengers will work to undo the chaos caused by Thanos. Fortunately, there are a number of amazing sites allowing you to bet on what may happen. I’m here to provide a few Avengers Endgame betting tips for fans looking to bet on this film’s potential outcomes.
Last month, I covered a few bets on how Avengers: Endgame will perform at the box office. Now, I’m going to breaking down the odds for the movie’s plot. There’s a lot to unpack here. Before we get into these odds, let’s take a quick look at what we know about the new Avengers movie so far.
Avengers: Endgame In a Nutshell
The most recent Avengers film, Infinity War, left viewers with one of the biggest cliffhangers in cinematic history. In case you’re unaware, Thanos, the main protagonist of the film, succeeded in acquiring all six Infinity Stones. He snapped his fingers and immediately wiped out half of all life in the universe.
To the shock of everyone, many of the biggest characters in the MCU died in the snap. Below are the characters who were turned into dust at the end of Infinity War.
- T’Challa (Black Panther)
- Peter Parker (Spider-Man)
- Stephen Strange (Doctor Strange)
- Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier)
- Sam Wilson (Falcon)
- Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch)
- Peter Quill (Star-lord)
- Nick Fury
- Hope and Hank Pym
- Janet Van Dyne
It’s also important to note that Loki, Gamora, Vision, and Heimdall were also killed by Thanos before the snap.
The original Avengers all survived. It’s clear that this team will reunite in Endgame to fight against Thanos once again. It’s also known that Captain Marvel will be joining the Avengers in the upcoming film.
I’ll be getting into a few popular theories as to what may happen in Endgame. For now, let’s take a look at a few of the betting odds available through one of the very best online sports betting sites in the US, Bovada Sportsbook.
Bet #1: Will Captain America Die in Endgame?
Steve Rogers, AKA Captain America, is one of the most important and beloved characters in the MCU. He burst onto the scene back in 2011 with Captain America: The First Avenger. This movie detailed the character’s humble beginnings as a US Army reject to become a government-created superhero.
Rogers has been the rock of justice for the Avengers over the years. He’s not the most powerful Avenger or the smartest, but Captain America remains the unofficial leader of the group. Unfortunately, it’s looking more likely that he’ll end up biting the dust (no pun intended) in Endgame.
Chris Evans is at the end of his Marvel contract. He had reservations playing Captain America years ago and has stated numerous times that he’s looking forward to his role ending. With Endgame slated as Cap’s last film, it would make sense for him to die in some heroic way.
Rogers dying is one of the easiest Avengers Endgame betting tips I can provide right now. We’ve already seen in trailers that Captain America is hurt in some kind of battle. In one particular trailer scene, he’s shown gritting his teeth and tightening his famous shield while stating, “whatever it takes.”
The odds here are offering a solid opportunity to cash out.
- Captain America dies in Endgame: -175
- Captain America survives Endgame: +135
As you can see, Captain America dying in the next Avenger movie is the betting favorite. He’s been struggling to adapt into a time period he wasn’t born in. With Chris Evans’ contract coming to an end, there’s no better time for this fan-favorite character to die.
Bet #2: Will Iron Man die in Endgame?
I apologize to anyone rolling their eyes right now. This may seem like another one of the easiest Avengers Endgame betting tips out there. Iron Man (Tony Stark) is in a very similar situation with Captain America.
For one, Robert Downey Jr.’s Marvel contract is also coming to an end. He’s been in the MCU longer than any other actor and has stated he wants to move on after Endgame. From a character perspective, it would also make sense for Iron Man to perish in the next Avengers film.
The last time we saw Iron Man, he was recovering from a battle with Thanos on Titan. The snap had killed almost his entire party, while he and Gamora were left to fend for themselves. In the first Endgame trailer, we saw Stark stranded aboard Peter Quill’s ship.
Some fans speculated we may see Tony Stark die early on in Endgame. It would be the type of unexpected move that the Russo brothers are known to pull. New trailers prove that is not the case.
Iron Man makes it back to earth. Most recently, he’s shown alongside Captain America and Thor on a battlefield with Thanos. No one knows how this battle will go, yet many fans predict that Iron Man ends up dead at some point in the movie.
This is one of the Avengers Endgame betting tips that I feel very confident about. We know that Stark plays a major role in defeating Thanos. Doctor Strange even saved his life by giving Thanos his precious Time Stone. Afterward, Strange tells Tony, “there was no other way.”
- Iron Man dies in Endgame: -190
- Iron Man survives Endgame: +145
I can see how some feel that Stark will survive the movie. He’s stated time and time again how much wants to settle down and stop being a hero. He’s even claimed to have seen a child of his in a dream.
I think that Stark is forced to give up his own life in order to defeat Thanos. He almost did this in the first Avengers movie, and I believe it actually happens in Endgame. I don’t want these Avengers Endgame betting tips to hurt any Iron Man fans’ feelings, but this character is about to go.
Bet #3: Will Thor Die in Endgame?
Thor is without a doubt one of the most popular characters in the MCU right now. It hasn’t always been the case, yet his appearances in Infinity War seemed to have raised his stock in fans’ eyes considerably. He still should’ve gone for the head, though.
Whether or not Thor will die in Endgame is completely unknown. There are reasons to believe he’ll survive, yet in many ways, it would make sense for him to die. This is one of the most difficult Avengers Endgame betting tips to provide for fans right now.
The God of Thunder has been on quite the journey lately. In Thor: Ragnarok, he was forced to fight against the Hulk on Sakaar to gain his freedom. During this time, he helped to bring back Bruce Banner and made his way back to Asgard to fight his sister, Hela.
Thor managed to kill Hela, but was forced to destroy his home planet in the process. At the end of Ragnarok, Thor and half of the surviving Asgardians were seen being followed by Thanos. This is right where Avengers: Infinity War begins.
Within the first few scenes of Infinity War, Loki was dead, and the Asgardian ship was destroyed. Thor was eventually saved by the Guardians of the Galaxy and embarked on his own journey to build a new weapon. Towards the end of the film, Thor strikes Thanos in the chest with his newly-made ax.
Thanos lets him know that he should’ve hit him in the head, and snaps his fingers just a second later. It’s clear from the Endgame trailers that Thor is distraught over not killing Thanos and preventing the life-killing snap. Does that mean he’s willing to die in Endgame to finish the job?
- Thor dies in Endgame: +155
- Thor survives Endgame: -220
Chris Hemsworth has confirmed that Endgame marks the end of his Marvel contract. That doesn’t necessarily mean he will die, though. With Asgard destroyed, he could retire to another part of the universe to create a new home for his people.
I don’t see Thor dying. All of the Avengers Endgame betting tips surrounding Thor are completely speculative, yet there’s no real reason for this popular character to be killed.
Bet #4: Will Ant-Man Kill Thanos in Endgame?
There’s a number of theories as to how Thanos may die. Some feel Tony Stark will get the job done using his high-tech armor. Others feel Thanos will get another opportunity with his ax and this time aims for the head. Recently, a new fan theory has emerged that involves Ant-Man.
The theory states that Ant-Man will crawl in one of Thanos’ orifices and expand from within. Anything is possible in the MCU, but come on, this is one of the more bizarre theories to come out before Endgame is released. Bovada is allowing fans to wager on it, so why not include it into a list of Avengers Endgame betting tips.
Ant-Man was left out of Infinity War. The last time we saw this character, he had completed his house arrest sentence and was working to enter the Quantum Realm (more on that later) with Hope, Hank and Jane Van Dyke. In the post-credit scenes of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scott Lang was left stuck inside the Quantum Realm while his companions disappeared in the real world from Thanos’ snap.
It’s clear that Scott Lang will play some kind of major role in Endgame. He was featured prominently in each of the released trailers. Most feel that his job will be to explain more about the Quantum Realm, but perhaps he’s the secret weapon needed to defeat Thanos!
- Ant-Man kills Thanos in Endgame: +300
- Ant-Man does not kill Thanos in Endgame: -500
I don’t see this happening. It would be amazing to see such a legendary Marvel villain die in such a ridiculous way, but it doesn’t seem likely. A list of Avengers Endgame betting tips should probably include an upset wager, yet this one is just too far out there.
There’s no doubt that Ant-Man will play a part in defeating Thanos. Will he really be the one to crawl inside of him and expand? Probably not.
Avengers: Endgame Betting Tips for Fan Theories – Potential Spoilers
There are literally hundreds of videos dissecting each clip of the Avengers: Endgame trailers in an attempt to learn more about the film. Some fantastic theories have since emerged as to what may happen with Thanos and the Avengers. Let’s take a quick look at some of the best fan theories available right now.
Time travel will take place in Endgame
Okay, this one doesn’t have odds attached to it yet. Almost everyone agrees that at some point in Endgame, time travel will take place. Clips of the Avengers suited up in the new “Quantum Armor” lent even more credit to this theory.
The theory states that Scott Lang will find a way out of the Quantum Realm. He explains to the Avengers how to travel into the Quantum Realm, which they then use to travel back in time to stop Thanos from acquiring the Infinity Stones one by one.
It may not be long before sites like Bovada begin offering odds on whether or not time travel takes place in the next Avengers movie. For that reason, I’m including it on this list of Avengers Endgame betting tips. If indeed these odds become available, I recommend betting that some kind of time travel does, in fact, takes place.
Deadpool makes an appearance in Avengers: Endgame
The odds for this theory come from Mybookie.ag, another one of the very best online betting sites available in the US. There are a few reasons why some feel Deadpool may make an appearance in Endgame. The biggest reason is that Disney purchased the rights to Fox’s film and TV assets in late 2018.
This includes the X-men and Deadpool series. If Marvel now has access to these characters, could we seem them make an appearance in Avengers: Endgame? Some fans got excited after seeing Hugh Jackman’s name appearing on Google’s list of actors involved with the film. That theory has since been squashed.
However unlikely it may be, some still feel that Deadpool will make an appearance in the next Avengers flick. Fans can now bet on whether or not this happens.
- Deadpool makes an appearance in Avengers: Endgame: +750
- Deadpool does not make an appearance in Avengers: Endgame: -2250
The Russo brothers have claimed that Deadpool will make an appearance in future Marvel movies. I don’t think we’ll see this popular character featured in Endgame. You may read another list of Avengers Endgame betting tips that swear Deadpool will make a cameo, yet without any indication this will happen, I have to guess he won’t.
