The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones will premiere in just over two weeks. Fans of the show are busy predicting what will happen, and some are choosing to make bets on the season outcome. This week, some more great Game of Thrones bets have become available through one of the best US sports betting sites currently operating.
I’m going to break down three of the best GoT betting options available right now. The wagers here are courtesy of Mybookie.ag. It’s an exciting time for Game of Thrones fans, and there are only a few weeks left to bet on this season’s outcome.
Let’s get into it!
Bet #1: Will Daenerys Targaryen Die by the End of the Season?
One of the biggest twists that may possibly happen this season is Daenerys dying. She’s been on quite the journey through the series, trekking across kingdoms to secure her seat on the iron throne. Fans are torn on whether or not Daenerys will die, and there are some compelling theories on how she may go.
There’s a pretty good chance that Daenerys is pregnant. At the end of season 7, the Mother of Dragons was seen making love with Jon Snow. Many fans immediately began predicting that Daenerys became pregnant, and would need to battle with the idea of having a child while dealing with the war against the White Walkers.
Many also believe that Dany will survive the battle, but will die in childbirth. As long as this happens before the end of this season, it will count in the bet. Members of Mybookie.ag can currently bet on whether or not this popular character is pregnant. This could also be one of the best Game of Thrones bets available right now, as Daenerys’ odds to be pregnant are currently set at -250.
One of the most popular Game of Thrones bets available right now is on whether or not Daenerys will perish this season. She’s spent so much time and effort to become queen of the seven kingdoms, yet it’s beginning to look more and more likely that she’ll end up biting the bullet.
Perhaps Daenerys will sacrifice herself in some way. It’s clear that there’s a love connection with Jon Snow, and it may be strong enough to give up her life for. The pregnancy death still seems the most likely to me. Both Daenerys and Snow lost their mothers to childbirth.
The lines on if Daenerys will die or not are completely even. Odds on the Mother of Dragons dying are currently set at -120. The odds that she manages to survive the entire season are the same at -120.
My Prediction: Daenerys Targaryen Will Die
I think this is without a doubt one of the best Game of Thrones bets you can make right now. All signs are pointing to Daenerys dying this season. It will be shocking to see, as her journey throughout the series has been incredibly long and difficult.
If you agree, place your bet now! The odds are likely to change as the season progresses, and now may be the best time to put some money down.
Bet #2: Who Kills Cersei Lannister this Season?
I could dive into the odds of whether or not Cersei ends up dying this season, but let’s be real. This character is going to end up dead at some point in season eight. The real question is who does the deed.
Cersei is one of the most polarizing figures in Game of Thrones. She’s made enemies with just about everyone, and many different characters have a real shot at taking this character out of the game. Let’s take a quick look at the betting favorites.
Arya Stark: +150
Arya is listed as the betting favorite to kill Cersei Lannister. This character has been on quite the journey herself. She became a faceless man in Braavos and has gone on to assassinate a number of her enemies over the series.
Arya has the best shot to kill Cersei. She can change her face to become anyone she wants. There’s a theory she’ll kill Cersei while wearing Jaime’s face. At the moment, Mybookie.ag lists Ayra’s odds to kill Cersei at +150.
Jaime Lannister: +180
Jaime and Cersei’s relationship has changed quite a bit since season one. They’re siblings, lovers, and now enemies. Jaime was actually the only character to stick by Cersei season after season, but his patience finally hit a wall in season 7.
It would definitely be poetic justice for Jaime to kill Cersei. She’s been the ultimate villain to her brother, oftentimes in ways you don’t even realize until later. The odds that Jaime kill Cersei are currently set at +180.
Tyrion Lannister: +300
Arya and Jaime may hate Cersei, but no other character in the series despises her as much as Tyrion. The friction between these two characters has been apparent since season one. It reached a whole new level after Tyrion killed Tywin, Cersei and his father, back in season four.
Cersei has tormented Tyrion and called for his death on a number of occasions. It would be a welcome sight to see the roles reversed with Tyrion getting his revenge after so many years. Tyrion’s odds to kill Cersei are currently set at +300.
My Prediction: Tyrion kills Cersei
There are more betting options available, yet most hardcore GoT fans feel it will be one of the three characters above that end Cersei’s reign. This is just one of the Game of Thrones bets available at Mybookie right now.
Bet #3: Who Will Kill the Ice Dragon
The end of season seven was one of the biggest cliffhangers in television history. The Night King successfully resurrected Viserion and gained his control. In the final scene of season seven, the undead dragon destroys a section of the wall.
A dragon makes the White Walker army significantly more powerful. Fortunately, Daenerys still has two dragons on her side. She has yet to see her beloved Viserion switching to the dark side. When she does, a fight is sure to break out.
This is another one of the Game of Thrones bets with a number of different favorites.
Jon Snow: +130
Jon deserves a lot of credit for discovering that dragonglass can kill White Walkers. He’s the current favorite to defeat Viserion next season, perhaps using the same type of contraption that was used to kill this dragon in the first place.
Snow has shown real courage throughout the season. It wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine him killing the ice dragon before dying himself. Time will tell. The odds that Jon kills the Ice Dragon are currently set at +130.
Drogon or Rhaegal: +250
Perhaps more likely is one of Daenerys’ dragons killing its former brother. It’s almost a guarantee that we’ll see a dragon vs. undead dragon battle at some point. It will be two against one, and either Drogon or Rhaegal have a real shot at defeating the Night King’s newest pet.
Mybookie.ag currently lists the odds for one of these dragons killing the undead Viserion at +250.
Daenerys Targaryen: +350
It would be somewhat of a surprise to see Daenerys killing the Ice Dragon without the use of her two dragons, but anything’s possible in Game of Thrones. There could be a scenario in which she delivers the final blow to the Ice Dragon with a weapon. Perhaps she even regains control over the dragon and forces it to kill itself. The possibilities are endless!
I don’t really see this scenario happening. There’s always a chance, yet it seems more likely that one of the still-living dragons will take out Viserion.
My Prediction: Drogon or Rhaegal kill the Ice Dragon
