Just a couple of months back, it wasn’t at all certain that America’s Got Talent would take place this year. However, Season 15 has already kicked off, and I’m going to tell you about some of the latest America’s Got Talent bets.
In Season 15, judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel will be joined by the beautiful Sofia Vergara to decide which talent will win $1 million and get their own show in Las Vegas.
With most sports events canceled or postponed, AGT betting is the perfect substitute. Let’s get into what you can bet on right now.
America’s Got Talent Odds
It’s still early days since Season 15 just launched on May 26th, and the show won’t fully wrap up until mid-September. However, BetOnline.ag is offering odds on what type of act will win, while not yet offering odds on individual acts.

America’s Got Talent Betting Tips
What do the previous America’s Got Talent results tell us about who’s likely to win this season? While it’s not always true that history repeats itself, we can look at historical data to see if we can deduce some probabilities.
Here’s what I can tell you about who won previous seasons:
Singer Bianca Ryan
Ventriloquist Terry Fator
Singer Neal E. Boyd
Singer Kevin Skinner
Singer/Musician Michael Grimm
Singer Landau Eugene Murphy
Dog tricks act Olate Dogs
Martial arts dancer/mime Kenichi Abina
Magician Mat Franco
Ventriloquist Paul Zerdin
Singer/Musician Grace VanderWaal
Singer/Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer
Magician Shin Lim
Singer/Pianist Kodi Lee
I’ll sum this up for you simply. Here are some trends from the previous 14 seasons:
Singers have won eight times.
Ventriloquists have won three times, although one was a singer, too.
Magicians have won twice.
Dance acts have won once, although he was also a mime.
Comedians have never won.
I think these historical results are reflected in the America’s Got Talent Season 15 odds. It’s highly likely that a music act will win, and if you wager $100 on that right now, you could win $52.63 profit. That’s not bad at all when you consider the likelihood!
As this season goes on, there will likely be some AGT prop bets posted on BetOnline.ag. They’re not currently available to bet on, but you’ll likely see bets such as these.
Please note, I’ve given personal odds on these based on my own assessed probability of the outcome occurring. The following aren’t live odds, and I’ll update this article with real odds as these entertainment bets become available.
Will the Winner Be Male or Female?
Based on previous stats, we can say that more men have won America’s Got Talent than women. Only three women have won AGT before, so the probability is that a male will win it again this time. While these aren’t official odds, I’d say the odds are -230 that a man will win.
Will the AGT Winner Be a Solo Act?
The probability of a solo act winning AGT is extremely high. Almost every year, solo artists have won the prize money and the Las Vegas gig. I would give a solo artist odds of -550 of winning. It’s highly probable that a solo artist will win, so keep that in mind when placing your bets.
Will Archie Williams Win AGT 2020?
AGT fans will know that Simon Cowell is a tough judge to please. So, when Simon was blown away with Williams’ opening song, a heartbreaking rendition of Elton John’s Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me, you know he has a great chance of winning.
He also has a back story that will win him lots of love from the public. He was imprisoned for a crime he did not commit between 1982 and 2019 and was released under the Innocence Project.
