Betting on World of Dance 2020
World of Dance Season 4 is officially underway. Launched on the same night as America’s Got Talent, dance lovers are ready to tune in and watch some of the best dancers in the world battle it out for fame and glory.
I’ve been scouring the web for World of Dance betting odds and opportunities, and one of my favorite US-friendly betting sites is offering some action on this much-loved talent show.
So, here I present to you the current bets on World of Dance SE04 at BetOnline.ag.
Pssst! I’ll be giving odds taken from my favorite betting site—BetOnline.ag. If you’ve already claimed the welcome offer there, you can get the same odds, and a fresh sports betting bonus, at SportsBetting.ag.
World of Dance Betting Odds 2020
First, let’s take a look at what dance style will win World of Dance in 2020. These are the current odds on that at BetOnline.ag.
Dance Style BetOnline.ag Odds Hip-Hop +160 Any other style of dance +200 Contemporary +200 Ballroom +700 Jazz +800 Latin +1200 Ballet +1500 Tap +2000 Line Dancing +6000 Clogging +8000 You have to admit, hip-hop dancing is cool, and it’s hugely popular among younger viewers who predominantly watch shows like this.
Let’s see what we can find out by looking at the historical results:
- Hip-hop duo Les Twins won in the first season.
- Junior hip-hop team The Lab won season two.
- Hip-hop group Kings United won season three.
Well… I think it’s pretty clear to see why the odds have a hip-hop dance act as a favorite. Hip-hop dancers have won every season so far, so that could tell us something about what is likely to happen this year.
If you bet $100 on the hip-hop genre to win again, you could take home $160 in profits. I’m surprised to see that hip-hop only has an implied probability of 38.5% of being the winning genre given the historical results, but it’s early days, and anything could happen.
Winning Nationality of World of Dance 2020
When I listed the winners of previous seasons of World of Dance above, I deliberately didn’t mention their nationalities. I wanted to save that for this section.
BetOnline.ag is currently offering odds on the nationality of the winners:
Nationality BetOnline.ag Odds North American -105 European +225 Asian +250 South American +350 African +800 Oceanic +1500 Once again, let’s take a look at the previous winners to see if there’s anything we can learn from it:
- S1 winners Les Twins are French.
- S2 winners are an American dance troupe.
- S3 winners Kings United are Indian.
So, there’s nothing to take from this other than that it would be anyone from anywhere. If you wagered $100 on North American dancers to win this season, you could win $95.24 profit right now. Tempting!
Will Junior or Upper Dancers Win?
In World of Dance, juniors are under 18, and seniors are over 18. It’s as simple as that. There are odds on whether a solo or group will win in both age groups.
Outcome BetOnline.ag Odds Upper +220 Junior Team +225 Upper Team +240 Junior +250 As we’ve done for the previous categories, let’s see what the past winners can tell us (if anything):
- S1 winners Les Twins were an upper team.
- S2 winners The Lab were juniors.
- S3 winners Kings United were an upper team.
Three data points isn’t a lot to go on, but it does stand to reason that uppers should be better considering they’ve had more time to practice and refine their crafts. If you bet $100 on “Upper” right now, you could take home $220 in profits. Bet on “Upper Team” and that profit will increase to $240.
