Billy Football and Jose Canseco

Over the past couple of years, the popularity of celebrity boxing has grown exponentially. We’ve seen several high-profile social media stars make the move into the combat sports world. More plan to do so this year. Today, I’m going to break down the top celebrity fights happening in 2021.

Before getting into the specific fights, let’s check out the best site available to bet on all the big combat sporting events taking place this year.

Top Celebrity Boxing Betting Site Available in 2021

Back in March, the UFC became the first major sports league to begin operating again. It was a huge move for the world’s biggest MMA promotion. For an extended period of time, mixed martial arts was one of the only live sports on television.

Several major boxing promotions quickly began operating, as well. By June, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions were putting on shows. As you might have guessed, combat sports started to bring in more fans from around the country.

As these sports grew more popular, betting on them became more common, too. Many fans began placing wagers on the big fights taking place every week. It now seems that BetOnline is one of the very best sites to bet on combat sports operating today.

This site offers a huge range of different boxing betting odds. It’s easier than ever to bet on legitimate title fights. BetOnline is also well-known for offering a wide range of great odds on celebrity boxing matches.

There have been many of these unusual celebrity bouts taking place over the past few years. There will be even more of these fights taking place in 2021. Hardcore fight fans don’t seem to love it, yet these events are here to stay.

Head over to BetOnline to see everything that is being offered. Now let’s look at some of the most high-profile celebrity fights expected to go down this year!

Here Are the Top Celebrity Fights Happening in 2021

There’s a good chance that you’ve heard about some celebrity fights taking place recently. It seems that the Paul brothers’ move into boxing reignited the interest for these types of shows. Both Logan and Jake Paul are now immersed in the sport and are expected to compete in the next few months.

Many are now flocking to different US online sports betting sites to wager on the events taking place this year. Below is a quick look at some of the top celebrity fights happening in 2021.

#1: Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather

If someone claimed this fight was happening a few years ago, the world would have never believed it. Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest boxers to ever live. Logan Paul is a YouTuber without any meaningful experience in the boxing ring.

It now seems that anything is possible. Despite backlash from many fans, this bout has been confirmed to take place on February 20. It’s not much of a surprise to see Mayweather listed as the massive -2000 in this bout according to BetOnline. Most feel that he will earn a knockout win with relative ease.

Logan Paul’s only real advantage here is size. Other than that, it seems hard to imagine that he’ll put up much of a fight. Those that feel otherwise can try to take advantage of his astounding odds of just +750 to get the victory.

Paul vs. Mayweather: Mayweather wins via 4th round TKO

Floyd Mayweather is now in his 40s, yet he has remained in great shape. Not many analysts see him getting beaten by a man with an 0-1 record in the ring. I think Floyd puts on the pressure and gets a stoppage in the fourth round.

#2: Jose Canseco vs. Billy Football

This fight doesn’t have nearly the same level of attention as the one between Paul and Mayweather. In fact, it hasn’t been officially agreed to and may never end up coming together. It’s still fun to speculate how this bout could play out and it’s easy to see why some feel this could be one of the top celebrity fights happening in 2021.

TMZ was the first to report the news that Jose Canseco agreed to fight “Billy Football,” a Barstool Sports intern. Billy seems excited at the opportunity, telling his fans he plans to get the victory on fight night.

“There’s a very good chance he dies in the ring,” Billy said … “I would commit manslaughter, I wouldn’t commit murder. For the record, I have no intent to kill him.”

Canseco vs. Billy: Canseco wins via 1st round KO

Only one of the men involved in this proposed contest has any kind of boxing experience and that is Jose Canseco. He is now challenging Logan Paul to a fight if he gets past Billy. I think he gets a stoppage in the first round and continues pushing for a fight with Logan.

#3: Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren

This is another fight that has not yet been officially confirmed. Jake Paul seems to be hinting this is the contest that will be taking place, though. He’s now 2-0 as a professional boxer. None of his wins have been over someone with any kind of boxing experience.

Ben Askren is a former MMA champion.

He never displayed much of a striking arsenal, however, and instead used his elite wrestling to earn wins in the cage. That’s what makes this one of the top celebrity fights happening in 2021.

Odds on this bout are available online! Jake is currently listed as the -180 favorite. It’s astounding to see him come in as a betting favorite against an experienced MMA fighter. Askren comes into this bout as the +150 underdog.

Paul vs. Askren: Askren wins via 3rd Round TKO

Against any kind of fighter with legitimate striking skills (such as Anthony Pettis) Jake Paul will find himself in big trouble. He’s purposely calling out the fighters with limited experience in the stand up department. Despite Askren’s lack of punching skills, I still think he is a better fighter than Jake.

#4: Lamar Odom vs. TBA

Lamar Odom is a former NBA player for the Los Angeles Lakers. His success in the sport of basketball was undeniable. During his time on the court, he helped the Lakers win two world championships.

Since then, Odom has faced some difficulties. It now appears he’s ready to enter the boxing ring. Reports have confirmed that he’ll be competing in a boxing event on June 12 against a yet-to-be-named opponent.

Hopefully, he’s matched up with someone on a similar skill level as himself. Stay tuned for more information on this bout over the next few months.

Odom vs TBA: Lamar Odom wins via unanimous decision

It’s obviously impossible to make an accurate prediction without knowing who Odom will be facing. For now, I predict he earns a decision win against whoever he steps into the ring against.

#5: Aaron Carter vs. Justin Bieber*

Alright, this fight probably will never happen. It’s important to note that Aaron Carter has signed with boxing promoter Damon Feldman and will be competing on the same card as Lamar Odom. He has yet to receive an official opponent yet.

It’s easy to see why Carter vs. Bieber would be one of the top celebrity fights happening in 2021. Both men have a large number of fans and detractors. Many would tune in to see them either win or lose.

Beiber has actually challenged several fellow celebrities to fights over the years. That includes Tom Cruise. Perhaps if the money is right, he’ll agree to take on Aaron Carter in the ring sometime later this year.

Carter vs Bieber: Carter wins via 2nd round TKO

How can I make a prediction for this one? There’s nothing to back up any real analysis. I’ll go out on a limb and say Carter lands a knockout shot early in the second round.

Conclusion

Boxing seems to be in a better position right now than it has been in years. Fans will be treated to several world-class title fights over the next twelve months. It will be interesting to see how many of these fans also tune in to the top celebrity fights happening in 2021.

Make sure to check out BetOnline to see the odds for the matchups listed above. Some might be offering huge opportunities to cash out.
