For the sake of example in this guide, we’re going to use to show you the steps for placing bets via your smartphone. Keep in mind, not all online sportsbooks have mobile betting platforms and some might be significantly different than others. Mobile Screenshot

Step 2: Sign-up with

As a newbie, or first time user with, you are going to have to sign up for a new account. Fortunately, this process is rather easy to do as you fill out some important information in order to create your account. Some of the details you will have to enter are: name, address, date of birth, phone number, and password. Create Account Mobile Screenshot

Once you have created your account, you can verify everything via your email. Mobile Welcome Screenshot

After your account has been created, click on Get Started and it will take you to a window where you can Deposit your funds. However, I would wait on this part until you finish the next step first. Click on the “X” in the top right corner and exit out of that screen.

Once you have exited the Deposit screen, go back to the Main Page and scroll down to the bottom.

Step 3: Take Advantage of Bonuses

At the bottom of the front page, there’s a Promotions section that lists all of the bonuses available.

There’s a promo code for you to enter into the cashier so that you can receive an additional 50% worth of free plays. Make sure you check out the Terms and Conditions for this bonus. After you have selected your Bonus, go up to the top of the screen and click on Deposit to make a real money deposit in addition to entering the promotional code.

Once you have made your first real money deposit, proceed to the Sportsook section.

Step 4: Head to the Sportsbook Section

There are a few choices for you in order to place your first wager: you can choose from the sports and events listed in the Most Popular section, you can click one of the sport’s images above the Most Popular section, or you can click on the “Sports” section that has a football as its image near the top left of the screen shot. To access the first option, just scroll down the page and select one of the sports that you are interested in betting on.

To access the second option, just click on one of the sport’s logos located directly above the Most Popular section. Scroll left or right to find the sport you want to bet on.

To access the third option, head up to the top left corner of the page and click on “Sports,” which shows an image of a football.

Step 5: Choosing a Sport to Bet On

For this guide, we’re choosing the sport of football. After selecting “football,” it will take you to a page where you can choose from the NFL, NCAA, and CFL. Football Betting Mobile Screenshot

Next, click on “NFL” and you will see the following page: NFL Football Betting Mobile Screenshot

Step 6: Choosing a Game or Event to Bet On

This is the step where you have to know what type of bet you want to place prior to making it. In this beginner’s guide, we’re going to only discuss the popular NFL straight bets: Spreads, Money Lines, Game Totals.

After clicking on “NFL” in the step above, and entering the main NFL page, you will have access to all of the NFL’s Week 1 bets. However, because we’re using a mobile platform, there is limited space on a small screen. So, the games will be listed by date, time, and show the Spread lines only. A quick refresher, NFL Spreads are wagers placed on the points a team has to win or lose by. In the first listed game, the Atlanta Falcons are getting 4.5 points against the Philadelphia Eagles.

If you want to bet on the Falcons to cover the spread then select the +4.5 at -110 odds. This means you will have to bet $110 to win $100. If you think the Eagles are going to win by more than 4.5 points, then you select the -4.5 points at -110 odds. NFL Moneyline Mobile Screenshot
If you would prefer to bet on a team’s Money Line then scroll up and tap on “money line.” Now, the games will be listed by date, time and money lines. For those that don’t know, a money line represents the odds for each team’s chance at winning. In the screenshot below, you will see that the Atlanta Falcons have a +175 money line and their opponent the Philadelphia Eagles have a -205 money line. That means the Eagles are favored to win and you would have to bet $205 dollars on the Eagles to win $100. If you wanted to bet on the Atlanta Falcons then you would place $100 dollars on the Atlanta money line to win $175. NFL Game Totals Mobile Screenshot
The last option to choose from, for this beginner’s guide, are Game Totals. This represents how many points the two teams will combine to score in a game. Scroll up and click on “Game Totals.” Now, the games will be listed by date, time and total points. Once again, looking at the Falcons vs Eagles game, you will see that the Game Total is at an Over/Under of 46.5 points.

If you think that the two teams will score at least 47 points than you will select the Over at a line of -110. This means you have to bet $110 to win $100. If you think the two teams will score less than 46.5 total points then you select the Under, which is also at -110 odds.

Step 7: Placing your wager

I really like the Los Angeles Rams vs Oakland Raiders matchup, which is the second contest for the opening week of Monday Night Football. In particular, I like the Rams money line of -160. I believe they will win the game outright. NFL Game List with Odds Mobile Screenshot

So, I want to bet $160 to win $100. Click on the Los Angeles Rams and a Straight Bet window will pop up: Straight Bet Window Mobile Screenshot
In that window, enter $160 in the Bet box and then you will see $100 appear in the To Win box.

Remember, if you used the Welcome Bonus that we mentioned in Step 3 then you have the option of placing this wager by using your Free Play Balance, which is accrued by your initial deposit and the Welcome Bonus. Once you have decided to use either your Cash Balance or Free Play Balance, then click on “Place My Bet” and your wager has been made. Game Wager Mobile Screenshot

Congratulations on Placing Your First Wager

Congratulations, you have made your first wager via your smartphone. It’s an exciting moment because you now know how to use this mobile betting platform to place your future wagers on. Keep in mind, this guide is for beginners and novice mobile bettors. So, the guide is intentionally kept to bets that are simple types of NFL wagers and not the more complex ones like Parlays, Teasers and Live Betting. Those guides will be out in the very near future. As for now, we hope that you enjoyed this guide and that you are successful with your mobile sports betting endeavors.
