As of now, there are no sites offering betting odds on the movie’s actual plot and outcome. That could change in time, yet for now the three bets below focus only on the revenue this movie will earn. Let’s get into it!
Avengers: Endgame to Make More in First Week Than Infinity War (Box Office)
Avengers: Infinity War was one of the most expensive films ever made. Fortunately, the MCU, and more specifically the Avengers franchise, has one of the biggest fan bases in cinematic history. The movie absolutely crushed it at the box office, generating $2.048 billion to become the fourth-highest-grossing film of all time.
Infinity War is said to be one of the most ambitious crossover films of all time. Many of Hollywood’s biggest stars appeared in the film. A large number of these stars were also killed at the end, but that’s neither here nor there.
By the end of Infinity War, nearly every fan immediately began imagining what would take place in the next Avengers film. Endgame may very well be the most anticipated film of all time and is very likely to outperform Infinity War at the box office. That’s exactly what Betway Sportsbook is allowing you to bet on right now.
Members here can place a wager on whether or not Endgame will make more in the first week at the box office than Infinity War. Based on what I’m seeing online in terms of anticipation for the film, I think there’s a good chance it does. Let’s look at the Avengers Endgame betting odds for this scenario to happen.
Yes, It Makes More Than Infinity War During the First Week: 1.61
Avengers: Infinity War ended on quite the cliffhanger. Thanos succeeded in wiping out half of all life, including some of the MCU’s most popular characters like Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Spiderman, and more. Endgame will take place immediately after the events of Infinity War.
For this reason, it seems very likely that Endgame will succeed in making even more than Infinity War. Most of the people who watched the previous film will likely want to see what happens next.
At the moment, the Avengers Endgame betting odds here are pointing toward the film making more during opening week. Betway lists these odds at 1.61. I personally believe this movie will make considerably more than Infinity War during the first week of release.
Infinity War was certainly a big hit, yet it came after Age of Ultron, which is considered to be the least-successful Avengers film to date. Endgame, on the other hand, is coming directly after the most successful Avengers film. For that reason, I think the Avengers Endgame betting odds here make total sense.
Avengers: Endgame to Make Less in First Week Than Infinity War (Box Office)
As I mentioned before, the Avengers Endgame betting odds available online are only related to revenue right now. The second wager available is on whether or not Endgame makes less than Infinity War at the box office. I just listed all the reasons why this probably won’t happen, but for the sake of argument, I’ll list a few reasons why it could.
For one, the marketing for Endgame has been a little weak. It’s likely that the head honchos in charge of marketing are relying on word-of-mouth and pure anticipation to help promote Endgame. Directors Anthony and Joseph Russo have been extremely tight-lipped about virtually every aspect of the film.
It’s always hard to keep film leaks from getting out. Despite their best efforts, there have been a number of plot leaks that have come to light over the past several months. I won’t spoil anything, yet just about anyone can find these online.
There has only been one real trailer released for Avengers: Endgame. It came out all the way back in December. A short film-spot preview also came out during the Super Bowl, but aside from that, fans have been left in the dark.
In some ways, that’s a good thing. There haven’t been any major spoilers released through trailers. On the other hand, the lack of marketing could actually hurt this movie’s success at the box office. At the time of this article, there are still two months before the movie is released and it’s likely that promotion for Endgame will ramp up starting in late March. Still, the Avengers Endgame betting odds point out that this movie earning less than Infinity War at the box office is somewhat of a longshot.
No, It Doesn’t Make as Much as Infinity War During the First Week: 2.20
It’s certainly possible that Endgame doesn’t manage to make as much as Infinity War during its first week in theatres. There was a mystique to the last film in the Avengers franchise that, at least for now, doesn’t seem to be surrounding Endgame. I don’t think this happens, though.
Captain Marvel is set to be released in early March. Fans will probably be treated to a number of plot reveals for Endgame during this movie. As soon as Captain Marvel is released, the marketing for Endgame is going to increase dramatically.
I think that Endgame actually blows Infinity out of the water during the first week at the box office. Even casual fans of these films will probably be interested in seeing what unfolds for the characters in the fourth Avengers movie. The odds that Endgame doesn’t earn as much in the first week are set at 2.20.
Endgame to Be the Highest Grossing Film of All Time
The last addition to my list of the best Avengers Endgame betting odds online right now is whether or not Avengers: Endgame becomes the highest grossing film of all time. I mentioned earlier that Infinity War is the fourth-highest-grossing film. It seems likely that Endgame will surpass that.
I suppose this bet ties into the previous two bets available through Betway Sportsbook. This particular wager will include the revenue earned across the world, though. Infinity War earned more than $1.3 billion outside of the US and Canada, and Endgame will probably earn even more.
The first trailer for Endgame was viewed 289 million times within 24 hours. That surpasses the previous record held by Infinity War which earned 230 million views. Expectations are high that this movie will be a record breaker in terms of revenue, as well.
At the moment, Avatar remains the highest-grossing film in the world with $2,787,965,087 earned across the world at the box office. In second place is Titanic, with $2,187,463,944 earned in ticket sales. Avatar is the most successful film in history by a huge margin.
I think it’s possible but unlikely that Endgame manages to break Avatar’s record. This will depend heavily on how the film is received by critics and the public. If Endgame is universally praised, this could definitely happen. If not, it’s unlikely to get even close to the revenue earned from Avatar.
This is one of the Avengers: Endgame betting odds that’s hard to predict. The odds are listing it as somewhat of a longshot bet at 5.50. I recommend waiting a little bit for another trailer to come out before making a bet on Endgame becoming the highest-grossing film of all time.
Avengers: Endgame – What We Know so Far
I’ll resist the temptation to list any of the potential spoiler leaks that have come out over the past few months. Instead, I’m going to give a short explanation of what fans are supposed to know so far about the upcoming Avengers film. There have been very few details released, but a few facts have come to light.
One of the well-known facts about this film is that Captain Marvel will be featured. At the ending credits scene of Infinity War, we saw Nick Fury paging Captain Marvel before disappearing due to Thanos’ snap. Captain Marvel has been called the most powerful superhero in the Marvel Universe and will likely be key to the Avengers (somehow) defeating Thanos.
We also know that Scott Long, or Ant-Man, will play a major role in Endgame. At the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Lang was trapped inside the Quantum Realm while half the universe was wiped out. He made an appearance in the first trailer for Endgame, and we may see him utilizing the Quantum Realm to travel through time.
We see Hawkeye make an appearance in the trailer, perhaps in his much-rumored Ronin form, and the fate of Shuri back in Wakanda is still unknown.
Based on the Super Bowl TV-spot, the Marvel world seems to be in disarray after Thanos snapped his fingers. The original Avengers all seemed pretty bummed out, although it looks like they band together at some point in the trailer. It’s hard to say more without listing any potential spoilers, so I’ll stop and let you learn more about this film on your own.
It’s possible that Betway Sportsbook will begin offering more Avengers Endgame betting odds as the film gets closer to hitting theatres. For now, members of this popular online sportsbook can place bets on how much money Endgame manages to make in the theatres.
Do you think Endgame makes more than Infinity War during opening week? Will this movie become the highest-grossing film of all time?
Feel free to leave your own fan theories in the comment section below. Stay tuned for additional Avengers: Endgame betting options in the next few weeks!
