It’s clear that media outlets are beginning to embrace the sports gambling industry. Today, we’re going to look at the state of the US sports gambling market. We’ll also talk about what this new show will be providing to listeners.

More States Begin to Regulate Sports Betting

For many years, only Nevada was legally allowed to offer sports betting odds. In May of 2018, this changed. The US Supreme Court struck down PASPA, allowing each state to set laws on the sports betting industry.

Several states quickly began introducing legislation to legalize their sports gambling markets. New Jersey was one of the first states to officially launch a sportsbook. Now, both online gambling and land-based sports betting are completely legal here.

11 states now have regulated sports betting industries. Many are currently working to allow this form of gambling. Based on the way things are moving forward, it’s likely that every state in the country will soon have legal sports betting options.

There are also a huge number of great online sportsbooks in the US that are available in every single state. Most of these websites offer even more betting odds than the top land-based sportsbooks in Las Vegas.

There’s never been a better time for fans of major sports, and individuals across the country have the ability to wager on their favorite sports whenever they want. Now, Fox Sports Radio is preparing to launch “The Gambler,” a show focused solely on sports gambling.

“The Gambler” Will Go Live on Monday, August 26th

Several major media outlets have begun to offer content surrounding the sports gambling industry. Fox Sports Radio, one of the most popular sports radio companies, is now launching their own show about sports betting. “The Gambler” will focus on sports betting picks for gamblers around the country.

Sean Brace, a radio host with Fox Sports, commented on the decision to launch a sports betting show to the media this week.

“The need for a third sports talk radio station wasn’t really there unless it was going to be something completely different,” he said. “And that’s why we launched ‘The Gambler.’ No callers. Just guests that will bring the best information on the games we love to watch.”

“The Gambler” will air on 102.5 FM and 1480 AM on weekdays from 3 PM to 6 PM. Hope is that it provides gamblers with useful information to make the best possible bets.
