  • Jairzinho Rozenstruik at +260 has gotten 64% of the total bet count for his bout against Curtis Blaydes.
  • Meanwhile, Nick Diaz has gone from a -110 pick’em to the slightest -109 underdog against Robbie Lawler.

UFC 266 is four days away and with the betting odds for the main card out for at least a month already, the best UFC sportsbooks already have an idea of how the public is betting.

At online betting sites BetOnline.ag, three main card betting underdogs are getting heavy betting action right now, dominating the total bet count for their respective bouts.

Two of the bottom dogs have the longest odds in the main card and that’s perhaps the reason why bettors are pounding their odds right now. These two are Lauren Murphy who challenges Valentina Shevchenko for the UFC women’s flyweight title in the co-main event and Jairzinho Rozenstruik who engages fellow knockout artist Curtis Blaydes in the 4th bout of the UFC 266 main card.

Latest UFC 266 Betting Count

According to the latest figures from BetOnline, Murphy has 76% of the bet count at +1000 odds against Valentina Shevchenko. Last September 16th, BetOnline reported that Murphy had 66% of the early bet count at +700 odds. Shevchenko’s odds meanwhile, continued to shorten from -1400 last week to -1700 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Jairzinho Rozenstruik owns 64% of the total current bet count for his bout against Curtis Blaydes. Last week, Bigi Boi had an even bigger 69% share of the betting pie. His odds to beat Blaydes lengthened from +250 last week to +260 with four days left before fight night.

Nick Diaz is also the popular bet for his rematch against Robbie Lawler. Diaz currently has 67% of the bet count for their bout after going for 65% last week. Both fighters were listed at -110 apiece last week but Diaz is now the slight betting underdog at -109 while Lawler is priced slightly higher at -111.

Two Title Fights and One Legendary Rematch

Saturday night’s UFC 266 at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena will be spearheaded by two title fights. As stated earlier, Lauren Murphy challenges Valentina Shevchenko for the UFC women’s flyweight belt. Then in the main event, Alexander Volkanovski defends his featherweight title against top contender Brian Ortega.

But while Shevchenko is getting little love from the UFC 266 bettors right now, Volkanovski has 64% of the bet count against Ortega. This is a slight increase from last week’s 63% despite the odds for both fighters staying the same at -175 for the champion and +145 for the challenger.

The legendary rematch is of course Nate Diaz vs Robbie Lawler which is 17 long years in the making. The odds for this bout have gotten so much closer since Lawler opened at -250 and Diaz at +210 last July. The line has gone back and forth in recent weeks with Lawler currently having the slightest of edges at just $2 over Diaz’s price.
