A Detailed Review of PartyBets.com

PartyBets is the latest addition to the Party brand family which you probably have heard of thanks to their flagship product, Party Poker. It's always exciting to see a company take the dive into a new sector of the market and this situation is no different. The Party Poker brand was so successful and well done that we had extremely high hopes and expectations rolling into the review of PartyBets.

Not only were we excited due to the fact that the new segment was being done by an industry giant, we were excited because of the accompanying trust factor that comes with it. In the online gaming world, trust and reliability can be questionable at times especially with newer and smaller players in the market.

Rating Breakdown

Overall

As an initial disclaimer, PartyBets was not terrible, but was far from what we'd like to see from an online gaming site and had a lot of room for improvement. It's possible we were holding them to higher standards due to the fact they are from such a giant company, so keep that in mind as you go through this. Granted, we did give them some additional love due to reliability from that larger company so the rating may be on par with what we actually feel. The casino area of PartyBets was decent, though we would have liked to see a lot more branded games. Banking options were also great including completely free withdrawals!

Game Variety

PartyBets had quite a few games to choose from, though we had a few issues with some of them. They looked to have a lot of branded slot games, but we could only find one, and it was conveniently the first one listed. Their live casino offerings were great and of awesome quality so kudos to them there. Casino game options were good except they were missing a few popular games we'd like to see, specifically a craps table or two. Regarding sports betting options, they had a lot of different sports you could bet on. The part that was a little strange to us was the types of bets they had listed that they offered. A lot of them were brand new to us and looked to be missing some popular options.

Banking

Banking options were extremely numerous, and they had no fees on deposits or withdrawals. This is really unheard of even at some of the other industry giants. If you can't find an easy way to get money on and off of PartyBets, you're doing something wrong on your end. The only way they could make it any simpler is if they sent an actual person to your house to pick up the money by hand. Great work on the banking options by them and the no fees on withdrawals is unheard of.

Bonuses

They did offer some promotions, but really nothing that special that made us want to jump off the couch and start playing. It's starting to seem customary that the bigger the site and the more reputable the company name is behind it, the less they are willing to offer in bonuses and promotions. We would like to see a few more options here as well as maybe some creativity in what they're able to offer players. The three may be a little generous, but we were happy to see at least some stuff listed.

Customer Service

Customer service options were numerous and quality with PartyBets. They had live chat support, phone support as well as email support. Though they only posted hours on the live chat, we'd assume that everything is 24/7 at PartyBets. They did also have an extensive FAQ section which we liked even though there was no attached search function.

User Interface

This was really where PartyBets lost us. The sports betting area of the site had a lot of clutter and simple things that could have been fixed with a little planning or reorganization. It felt like a site that was designed to be much smaller and then couldn't control all the different options that eventually came up. The casino area was organized a bit better, and of course, each individual game worked well, but it still left a lot that we wanted that we cover more in depth below.

Introduction

Party is a massive, publicly traded company that has been in business for over 20 years with a great track record. This sort of history and reputation means your money is going to be safe and you can worry more about whether or not you like the layout and features of the site when deciding if you want to play there or not.

If you've read any of our other reviews, you know that we always disclaimer that we're not here to puff up the sites but are in fact here to give an honest review of what we think of the site. A lot of times that disclaimer is followed by a glowing review of a site, mainly because we seek out quality sites and it is warranted. We can understand, though, that leaves you questioning if we're serious or not about giving subpar reviews when they are needed.

Well, sadly for PartyBets, that disclaimer will be validated today. Is the site bad? No. Does it live up to the expectations of what we think we should be getting from this big of a company? Unfortunately not. Again, we want to reiterate that the site is not bad by any means; it just lacks in some areas that we expected to see higher quality. The casino and slot areas of PartyBets are on par with most of the rest of the industry in regards to selection and quality. The sportsbook, on the other hand, is really where things fall short.

You may be hovering your mouse over the back button to find a different casino and sportsbook to look into, but we want to tell you to hold on for one second. There are a lot of perks of this site that you may enjoy and that may make this a good fit for you. The site has zero withdrawal fees and is probably the most trustworthy and reliable on the market due to the size and track record of the company. We can guarantee that a publicly traded company is going to have no issues with their banking and withdrawal times which can sometimes be slower elsewhere.

Our recommendation is to read the entire review and then make your selection. It's hard not to overlook a few things to be able to get free withdrawals and this level of reliability.

Sportsbook

The sportsbook at PartyBets was, unfortunately, something we weren't really big fans of. Now, this, of course, doesn't mean that you might love it, but at least for us, the layout and some of the bet types offered were not to our liking.

Regarding betting options, there were plenty of choices which was a positive for the sportsbook. They had a lot of leagues in a lot of the categories which is great if you're looking for something more obscure to bet on. Our issues started, though, with the organization of some of the categories. For example, all of the boxing bets were not separated by individual fights or by fight cards as is pretty customary, but they were separated by weight class. This is probably great if you like to bet only certain divisions, but it's our feeling that most people like to bet based on the fight card or when the event is.

The layout was overwhelming. On the left-hand side of the screen, you had the categories of sports arranged in a list. But then you had a drop-down tab for additional sports which had another 19 sports in it, not just a few. A lot of these sports were also fairly popular ones that should probably be on the main list. Frankly, all of the sports should be on one list, and if you're going to have an additional sports list, it should be only the most obscure like competitive underwater basket weaving or something like that, not mixed martial arts.

The problem as well with this secondary list is that if you click to expand it and then go to a sport on the list when you come back to the main list, you have to click the drop-down again and scroll back to the sports you were looking at. This might not sound like a big deal when we describe it here but trust us it will annoy the crud out of you if you jump between sports to get your bets placed.

There's also no option to alphabetize the list which makes finding the category you're looking for a nightmare. Our best guess is that the site was built with only a few sports betting options and wasn't created to scale properly to a lot more options.

PartyBets did have a posted list of the types of bets they offer, but it left us somewhat confused after reading. First, it was an incomplete list. The site clearly offers the most common and popular types of bets, but for some reason, they weren't on this list. The bets that were included on the list were new ones to us and seemed to be on the more complex side of things.

Now, these bets may be your favorites, and they just may not be popular in our region, so we're going to include the list here for you to see what they offer. Again, they had more bet types than this, but this is their list, not ours.

In addition to the betting options, the site offered a few additional service tabs that were worth noting. They had a Live Score and Statistics portal for you to watch game scores and research stats to help you with your bets. When we clicked through these sections, we were a bit shocked as they looked extremely clean and well organized, a strong deviation from the rest of the sports betting area. That's when we realized that these sections were managed and maintained by a third party, Bet Radar. If the rest of their sports betting portal looked like what Bet Radar had for them here, this review would be going significantly different for PartyBets.

The bottom line here is that the sportsbook is going to be overwhelming and confusing to most bettors. Some pro bettors may be a fan of the betting options as well as the interface, but for us (and we bet a lot) we were not fans. Your best course of action is to take a quick peek at it yourself because if you do like it, you're going to love the reliability and free withdrawals that you aren't going to be getting anywhere else.

Casino Games

The casino and slot offerings at PartyBets were a completely different experience from the sportsbook. It appears more attention was paid to user-friendliness and the overall experience of the guest at the site. The organization of the games is well done and much easier to navigate than the sportsbook area. If you're a casino or slot game player, PartyBets is definitely somewhere you're going to want to check out.

The site has the games separated into eight different categories to make things easier to find what you're looking to play. We've listed the different categories below along with our thoughts on what we liked and where we might like to see improvement from PartyBets. Overall, the casino and slot sections of the site were a win and definitely something worth checking out.

Games Live Casino

The live casino offerings at PartyBets looked to be of the highest quality versions out there we've seen, and it's also worth pointing out that the advertised female dealers are quite easy on the eyes. If you're too young to know what that phrase means, it means they're good looking women.

Slots Slots

PartyBets definitely takes the cake with options when it comes to slots. Our eyes began going cross-eyed counting the options somewhere just north of 220 games. One thing that was a bit deceiving was that the first slot game listed is 24, branded after the hit TV show. This led us to believe that there was going to be a big showing of branded games throughout the selection, but that looked to be the only one or one of very few. Not a huge deal, but just a bit misleading.

We will spare you the entire list of all of the games. Check out their site to see what they offer.

Table GamesTable Games

The table games selection of the casino area was a little bit of a letdown as it was just a combination of the roulette and blackjack games with a few other games mixed in. We would have at least liked to see a craps table or two.

The video poker section was fairly straightforward with only a few selections, but they all looked to be quality games. This is one of those sections where there usually isn't a huge need for a lot of variety.

Slots Jackpot Slots

Several of the games were connected to jackpots which is always a good sign. Most of the games had the jackpot listed they were connected to, but some did not for some reason. There was also a banner about a progressive $3 million plus jackpot. It was unclear from the wording if there was an actual jackpot over the $3 million mark or if that was the total of the progressive jackpots. Either way, there are jackpots on the line at PartyBets, and we think you should go ahead and just win one of them :) The figures below were at the time that we last checked on this site and may have gone up or down since then.

  • Atlantis Mystery Uncovered

Banking Options

PartyBets had a well-organized banking section with the ability to sort all of the options based on your country of residence as well as the type of withdrawal or deposit options you're interested in. Below we've listed the available options for UK customers as it seemed to have the most options. We did peek at a lot of the other different countries, and most of these options were available there as well.

It's also important to note that there were no listed minimums or maximums on withdrawals (though we assume they exist) and there were also no fees for any withdrawals which is pretty unheard of in the industry.

Bonus Promotions

As is beginning to appear customary with a lot of the larger companies, bonus promotions usually aren't as aggressive as with the smaller companies or, the newer companies. While looking for bonus promotions for the sportsbook, we didn't see anything listed anywhere. If you're a big time sports bettor and are in love with the PartyBets platform, we recommend contacting support and seeing if they have anything to offer you that are not listed publicly. It never hurts to ask, and you'd be surprised what they might have up their sleeves for the right player.

Casino promotions were few in numbers but did have some options for you to make some easy extra cash. Again, if you're a bigger player, we recommend contacting support to confirm and see if they have anything better hidden that they can offer you.

Cash Back On the Go

You will receive 5% cash back on any casino game that you play from your mobile platform. We didn't see posted anywhere that you need to opt-in to this promotion, so we're assuming that it is automatically applied to all customers.

Game of the Week

This promotion requires you to opt-in and looks to be straightforward. Opt-in and then earn one player point on the game of the week and your account will be credited with a $5 bonus.

Table Top-Up Bonus

You'll be able to earn up to $150 in bonus cash when you make a deposit and play on Sundays. It doesn't look like this offer is good the rest of the week, although, there's a decent chance if you message support they might be able to make some suggestions. Remember, it never hurts to ask.

Bonus Babylon

This is by far the biggest of the bonuses offered, but also the most confusing as details are vague. You can get yourself up to $2,000 in Palladium Casino bonuses by depositing and playing on Tuesdays. We aren't entirely sure what the Palladium Casino is or what a bonus to it entails, but we can assume it's a section of the casino on the site and you'll get some free play there for depositing and playing on Tuesdays. We will reach out to customer service to get some more details.

Customer Service

The selection of customer service options at PartyBets was strong, and the quality of those options appears by all accounts to be high. In regards to self-service options, PartyBets had an extensive FAQ section with a lot of answers to commonly asked questions. We would like to see them add in a search function on the FAQ, but at least the organization was well done.

Options Include:

  • 24/7 Live Chat Support
  • Dedicated Phone Support
  • Email Support

Hours were not posted on the phone support, but due to the magnitude of the company, it's probably safe to assume that it is 24/7. Frankly, we'd be a little shocked if it were not.

Conclusion

Overall, PartyBets wasn't what he had hoped it to be but it still had some bright points that are hard to ignore. Free withdrawals and the highest level of trust and reliability are the hardest things to come by in this industry, and PartyBets hits it out of the park. They've got an insane number of slots to choose from even though most of them are not branded (if that's even important to you).

The sportsbook was messy in our opinion and needed a lot of work. It might be a perfect fit if you're an extremely serious sports bettor that likes the no frills type of interface they have. They've also got a lot of stranger bet types that are new to us that may be right up your alley if you're into more complex bet types. It's really probably not fair to say the sportsbook is that bad, but we should instead say that we weren't fans personally and prefer other platforms.
