Spin Palace Review
Spin Palace had a remodel in the summer of 2017, and the result is a sleek and sophisticated new website with a brand new sportsbook. The casino is provided by Microgaming so, unless you're brand new to online gaming, you'll be familiar with many of the popular slot titles and those big progressive jackpot opportunities. The sportsbook offers 70 sports including in-play opportunities, and has a custom welcome bonus and daily specials. Video poker, table games, and a live dealer casino round out an action-packed website but don't expect to see too many promotions as welcome offers take center stage.
Spinpalace.com is a well re-designed site that doesn't go over the top with promotions but provides a quality casino and sports betting experience. It has a long track record and seems to have learned from its experience as it has put forward a good overall product. We would like to see more banking information, though. For a site that provides a plethora of information regarding the gaming, it holds back on the financial end of things.
There isn't any major issue in the variety of games offered in the casino. However, there isn't a specialty games section with things like bingo and scratch cards, and all slots are provided by Microgaming, so they're all video slots.
We honestly don't know how to rate the banking on this site as so much is not disclosed. There are six deposit and five payout methods, relatively small compared to some competitors. Bitcoin, paysafecard, and a few other of the newer alternatives aren't offered but, we lowered this rating a bit for not providing payout turnaround times and specific fees if any.
The welcome bonus is the only consistent programs in the casino. While that's fine for some, other players like to opt-in to more value added opportunities. What we most like, though, are the daily Enhanced Odds specials in the sportsbook.
We're not swayed either way on customer service. There aren't any consistent complaints about poor service or no response, but there isn't much in the way of above-average assistance either.
It's attractive and has a lot of the information needed, even if you're brand to new online betting. We did experience some lags, and a few misdirects but, all in all, it's a good, solid portable site.
Overview of Spin Palace
We want to get something out of the way right up front as there's so much contradictory information out there about Spin Palace's ownership and some past issues with that group. It is currently owned and operated by the CityViews Group with licensing under Bayton Limited and Baytree Limited.
We don't see anything reflecting a significant ownership change from the Palace Group, the previous ownership designation, and all of the sister sites like Cabaret Club, Ruby Fortune, and Jackpot City are listed in the terms and conditions on spinpalace.com.
When you do some searching, a few of the sites under the Palace Group did have some affiliate payment problems and slow pays for players. But, on the flip side, sites like Spin Palace, Mummy's Gold, and River Belle Gold have always been highly regarded by both reviewers and players, at least for the most part.
There aren't currently any major issues being reported and the Palace Group's old ties to the affiliate program, Wagershare, appear to be severed. Wagershare was assumed to be behind most of the complaints that were filed.
Spin Palace is fully licensed through Malta Gaming Authority as well as the Kahnawake Gaming Commission in Canada. Aside from the one-off issues that will always pepper player forums, users are complimentary of the new site and appreciate the popular Microgaming options.
Aside from customers from the United States not being allowed to register or use the service, players from the following locations are also on the "no list."
- France & Territories
- Hong Kong
- North Korea
- South Africa
- US Territories
- Czech Republic
- United Kingdom
Deposit and withdrawal options include credit and debit cards in both directions as well as iDebit, Trustly, and popular e-wallets Skrill and Neteller. Payouts are somewhat fuzzy though. There isn't a specific approval time posted nor any fees, but the terms and conditions state that charges may apply to some withdrawals so, just a heads up here.
Elegant would be the one word we'd use to describe the new spinpalace.com. The colors and rich and the picture enhancements are either photo-related or crystal clear graphics. It's not a cartoonish site by any means. It's deep rich blue with gold accents, and it makes you feel like a high roller just reviewing the information. One of the things we most like about it is the abundance of information provided for players. Everything is explained in great detail. You can even learn how to play a game like Baccarat by reading through that section.
Sports bettors now have an additional choice for staking their wagers as the new site plans also accommodated a new sportsbook. 70 sports with the most popular bets from spreads and totals to exotics, but a fun addition is the Spin Special section featuring daily enhanced odds opportunities. The book is easy to review and place a bet, and the live betting section is action-packed.
If you were to poll most online casino players and ask about the games they like to play, we would bet that most of them would include some Microgaming titles on their list. It's the company that put out the first online casino and is a well-respected member of the online gambling community. Not only is it known for its big progressive jackpots, but for fun and innovative slots like Playboy, Jurassic Park, Bridesmaids, Terminator 2, and Tarzan. Spin Palace's casino is provided by Microgaming and not a mix of multiple companies so a lot of the options should be fun and familiar ones.
Bonuses & Promotions
As far as promotions go on this site, there's only one formal bonus program for casino players and one for sports bettors, and they're both welcome bonuses that can only be claimed upon initial registration. There aren't any reload offers or other promotions unless they pop up as one-off opportunities or are offered through the loyalty club.
The welcome bonus is a three-part offer with varying percentages and maximum rewards. The rollover that applies to each of the three awards is 50 times. Meaning, if you deposit $100 and receive $100, that $100 bonus needs to be wagered 50 times for a total of $5,000 in betting.
The three-part welcome package is as follows:
- 1st Deposit: 100% match up to $250
- 2nd Deposit: 25% up to $300
- 3rd Deposit: 50% up to $450
Sports betting operates a little differently when it comes to meeting promotional wagering requirements. In this case, the value of the initial deposit needs to be played through five times to activate the free bet. So, whereas the bonus award is issued immediately upon deposit with the casino offer, the sportsbook requires the betting first, and then the reward comes after. The maximum win on a free bet is capped at $20,000, so that's not too bad.
Players can only claim one or the other of these bonuses so if you use the sportsbook and the casino; you'll need to decide which offer suits you the best.
Similar to most online VIP or loyalty clubs, Spin Palace's is a multi-tier program where new players can start out with 500 free club points and at the Blue level. Customers then progress up the ranks to Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and then Prive by earning points for every €10 wagered as points are awarded based on Euros.
Once you accumulate 2,500 points and get to the Silver level, the benefits start kicking in with a 10% bonus point increase and €1,000 in casino bonuses monthly. Prive level players (500,000 points earned) receive €10,000 in casino bonuses each month plus customized gifts, invitations to sporting events, VIP events, and vacations.
Higher loyalty level members also receive expedited withdrawals, a dedicated support phone number, and a VIP manager assigned to them.
The loyalty club does provide for some tournaments and bonuses that may seem lacking in the promotional area.
We do like it when a casino offers something a bit different for their players. The deposit match system can get old quickly. The monthly raffles are a good way to shake things up and add some additional excitement for loyal players, but they do require a deposit. One €25 deposit equates to one ticket, and then the winner is drawn at random from all participants. Some months the prizes are pretty impressive like a MacBook Pro or €1,500. Others have featured €50, €150 or €500 in cash. It'd be good to see something outside of the deposit realm, though. Like a slot tournament where everyone can participate or something that involves the actual casino play instead of the cashier.
The Casino Cashier
When you click the Banking tab, you'll note that a well-organized page of financial options opens up, all graphically depicted and each designating if it's allowable for deposits and withdrawals both.
What you won't find is much of anything else on the page. There are no turnaround times, and it doesn't say if fees are involved or not. We combed through the terms and conditions to try to fill in the blanks and did find a few pieces of information, but not a complete picture.
In reviewing some comments from players who have cashed out from Spin Palace, some say that the process took quite awhile and some say they received their payout faster than expected, so keep that in mind. These are just the overall guidelines.
You can deposit using any of the following:
- Visa Electron Debit Card
- Maestro Debit Card
- iDebit Bank Transfer
- Trustly Bank Transfer
- Skrill Web Wallet
- Neteller Web Wallet
The terms and conditions section states that fees "may apply."
- Maximum Withdrawal:
€10,000 per month
- Internal Approval:
You can pull up the sportsbook from within spinpalace.com or go directly to spinpalacesports.com, and you'll find an informative introductory page that details the sports welcome bonus and an overview of the betting service.
This is a brand new service to Spin Palace that was part of its summer of '17 renovation and, for a new addition, it seems to have everything that most bettors would want.
The book can offer up to 70 sports at any given time and does incorporate horse racing in the main menu.
Some of the betting options include:
The Betting Service
You'll get your choice of odds here as Fractional, Decimal, and American odds are all available to accommodate the punters around the globe. Spreads, Money Lines, Totals, Parlays, Props, all of the basic and exotics are also offered in this new book.
There's incentive to check out this sportsbook daily as the Spin Specials are Enhanced Odds offers. You'll see them change daily and include popular sports like soccer, basketball, and football. When we checked in, the book was giving a half a point edge on soccer to win as well as three NFL to win bets.
Rather than list an overall betting limit, the terms and conditions state that the maximum daily win ceiling is €100.000 or the equivalent in other currencies. The site also strictly prohibits any re-bets or even similar bets and can void payouts accordingly.
Although the new sportsbook didn't come with live viewing, there is an impressive In Play area with a long list of events. You can also click on a game in progress to see updated scores and available markets. The live betting opportunities don't stop at the top sports; you can get in on table tennis, cycling, darts, snooker and pool, beach volleyball, badminton, and more.
If you're a mobile user who prefers an app over the mobile browser, then you're in luck. Spin Palace has a sportsbook app that's optimized for iOS, Android, and Windows. It also provides a comprehensive page of information on its portable sportsbook with further explanation on the bet types and available sports.
When it comes to Microgaming, you're going to have some fun options in the slot banks, especially with progressive jackpots. It's a leader in those money-making slots, and regular players seek out titles like Mega Moolah and Major Millions specifically by name as they know that these games come with big payout potential. The variety elsewhere is A-OK as well, with plenty of tables and live dealer games, and some video poker, but specialty games, aside from keno, didn't show up on our radar.
Audio and Video Quality:
Software providers include:
- Evolution Gaming
- Scientific Games
You've got Microgaming in the casino and Evolution Gaming in the live casino, so the software is some of the best. The website renovation showcases each of the games in the best possible light. The only thing we experienced was some loading lag time on Android devices.
- Mobile Casino
The formatting is great, and plenty of games appear on a mobile device but, again, we did experience a bit of a delay in loading the pages which may have just been a temporary thing. For the most part, mobile play should more than suffice. The colors are crisp and clear, and all of the important and helpful information is included in this format as well.
While this site is information-packed on everything from what types or games are included in each section and how to play them, it only provides a sampling of titles for anyone who is not registered. You have to be an official player on spinpalace.com to view the entire collection.
For anyone who knows about Microgaming though, you'll be familiar with the types of games and many of the popular titles provided by this software giant.
- Dragon Dance
- Forbidden Throne
- Thunderstruck II
- Centre Court
- Deck the Halls
- Cricket Star
- Cash Splash
- Major Millions
- Mega Moolah
- Treasure Nile
- Cash Splash
- Fruit Fiesta

- Progressive Cyberstud Poker
- Jackpot Deuces
- Aces and Faces

Whereas Video Poker adds a measure of fun, the card and table game area is rather typical of most online casinos with enough variety to appeal to dedicated players, but it doesn't offer anything new and innovative.
- Atlanta City Blackjack Gold Series
- European Blackjack Gold Series
- Atlantic City Blackjack
- Atlantic City Blackjack Multi-hand
- Vegas Single Deck Gold Series
- Classic Blackjack
- Classic Gold Series
- Big Five Gold Series

The client services department is open round the clock and the agents are well versed in six languages, English, French, German, Italian, Swedish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Before we even pulled up Spin Palace, we went back and visited some player forums as the site was initially part of the Palace Group which had a bit of controversy following it. When you dig in deeper, though, it seems that most of the issues that came up all revolved around Wagershare, its previous affiliate program, and a group called Buffalo Partners which, by all accounts, is no longer associated with Spin Palace or CityViews sites.
It's important to put it out there though as some comments aren't quite complimentary, but there are also plenty of players who stepped up and talked about a great experience using this casino. Keep in mind that the sportsbook is new, so there won't be a lot of discussions yet regarding the betting service but, nowhere did we find any recent consistent and troubling information regarding player payouts aside from some that took longer to process than others.
The new Spin Palace is an impressive site that provides a well-rounded online gaming experience. You've got slots, video poker, table games, live dealer tables, and a sportsbook that also includes a racebook and the increasingly popular e-sports.
Bonus seekers may be somewhat disappointed as there is a welcome bonus, actually a three-part package for casino players as well as a free bet welcome offer for sports bettors, but that's where the buck stops. There isn't a packed promotional menu featuring reloads and other offers. We're in agreement with a streamlined program because it eliminates a lot of problems that players run into using these types of offers. Those rollover requirements that this and any site imposes can be so problematic, especially for newbies.
It would be nice to see something of a truly value-added nature, though. Some raffles or fun contents that don't rely on deposits but are tied into game play are always welcome additions and enhance the overall experience, but they certainly don't make or break a casino.
We do need to say that, players who mainly look for promotions should check out the loyalty club as it does include tournaments and monthly bonuses in its list of player perks.
When we get into the banking area, it's a mixed bag. There's a detailed page of options, but the only information provided is whether or not you can use them for deposits and withdrawals. It would be helpful to have details of minimum and maximum transactions and a fee schedule.
We also had to take a stab at the approval timing as it's not publicly posted either. Based on feedback from other sites and players, we estimate that internal approvals fall in the one to three business day range, but then for methods like credit and debit cards, there will be additional delays for external processing.
Stepping into the casino, you really can't go wrong when you use Microgaming as a sole provider as opposed to some other companies. It has the reputation behind it as well as the games that so many online players specifically seek out when they consider using one site over another. There are some of the newer casinos that now opt to use dozens of companies, and we prefer that because it provides a well-rounded collection but, if you have to go with one, Microgaming is that one.
Although there are plenty of slot and table games, the progressive jackpots stand out in this casino. There's a good number of them, and they're also available for mobile play. Some of these games have turned players into instant millionaires, so it's exciting to be able to get in the running.
The live casino suite is provided by Evolution Gaming, the company responsible for so many of the live dealer tables on probably hundreds of sites. It specializes in these tables, so the experience will be top-notch for anyone who prefers a real person leading the way.
While the sportsbook is new, it certainly has plenty of betting opportunities already. It was a well thought through addition with an easy review of lines and a quick one-button transfer to the in-play area.
Although casino players don't have any daily offers, the Spin Specials can be a significant benefit to punters that check in often and look for the best value. We'll take enhanced odds over a deposit match offer any day!
Early reviews on the newly revamped Spin Palace seem to indicate that it's a success. The stylish site provides an upscale atmosphere whether you prefer casino or sports betting. As a dedicated Microgaming casino, many of the most popular slot games today can be found on both the full site and mobile version. The sportsbook offers plenty of pre-game and in-play lines, and most players should be okay with a €10.000 maximum withdrawal allowed daily. If you haven't checked out Spin Palace in awhile, it may be worth a revisit.
You're not limited to one particular title, but slots are the only games that provide 100% wagering toward meeting the rollover mandate. Some video poker and other table games will allow for an 8% contribution and the rest come in at zero.
