Hot G Slot Machine
A 5 reel, 50 pay line slot machine, Hot G was created by 777igt for online casinos.
This is the third game in a series that also includes Baby G and Warrior G - all of which center on powerful female warriors.
One immediate difference that we notice with Hot G is how it combines Asian, warrior, and non-warrior elements.
The theme feels inspired by the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, starring Michelle Yeoh as Yu Shu Lien. But it could also be based on role playing games RPGs like Final Fantasy and Skyrim.
These are two of the most successful RPG franchises ever. Does Hot G measure up to these video games and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon?
You can judge for yourself after reading about Hot G's atmosphere, music, sound effects, animations, pay table, bonuses, betting options, and game rules. We'll also offer comparisons to similar online slot machines so that you can see where Hot G ranks.

Hot G Slot Machine Overview
Hot G is a departure from Baby G and Warrior G because, in contrast, it has a plain background. All you see is black at the top and bottom of the reels, coupled with grey on the reels.
This color combination reminds us more of a vampire game than it does a female warrior slot.
You'll also notice an Asian woman pictured above the reels, whom we assume is Hot G because the title appears below her name.
While detailed backgrounds don't always help a slot machine, this theme could use a battleground, koi pond, Japanese garden, or anything related to the symbols.
Without a background, this feels like a female fighter and horror slot mixed together.
The music is a powerful Asian tune that sounds like it could be in a movie. And the nice thing is that this tune has a long loop, meaning you're less likely to get tired of it.
The sound effects aren't as good because they're the same generic brand heard in other 777igt games. Sound effects include: magical and dreamy sounds during wins, coins clanging during payouts, explosions after scatter payouts, and a voice announcing big wins & free spins.
We don't mind the sound effects - it's just that they aren't designed specifically for this game.
Just like with Baby G and Warrior G, 777igt missed an opportunity to make this game better with dynamic animations.
Instead, what you get are symbols spinning around, coins jumping off the reels, and balloons flying up during big wins.
While these are entertaining to look at, it would be better to see the warriors swinging weapons or doing poses.
Hot G Pay Table and Graphics
This slot has 15 total symbols, which you can see below along with their corresponding payouts:
Wearing a crown and carrying a sheathed sword, this woman triggers the Mega Jackpot when landing 5 times in an active pay line.
Wearing a low cut yellow dress and featuring a stylish haircut, this lady pays the Minor Jackpot when appearing 5 times in a line.
Wearing a mid-riff wife beater, this female warrior delivers the Mini Jackpot when appearing 5 times in an active line.
With her red bikini top, headdress, and armor, this character looks straight out of a Final Fantasy game. She substitutes for all other symbols to form winning payouts, and also pays 150 coins when forming a 5 symbol win.
Featuring painted grey designs above her eyebrows, this symbol offers 200 coins for 5 symbols, 40 for 4, and 12 for 3.
Looking like she could appear in any Asian themed slot, this symbol offers 150 coins for 5 symbols, 40 for 4, and 12 for 3.
Featuring a black dress and hair, this woman offers 120 coins for 5 symbols, 30 for 4, and 12 for 3.
The A pays 100 coins for 5 symbols, 30 for 4, and 10 for 3.
The K pays 80 coins for 5 symbols, 25 for 4, and 10 for 3.
This letter delivers 60 coins for 5 symbols, 25 for 4, and 10 for 3.
The J and 10 both offer 50 coins for 5 symbols, 20 for 4, and 10 for 3.
This fighter delivers payouts on your triggering bet when landing 3 or more times anywhere on the reels. She pays 100x your bet for 5 symbols, 30x for 4, and 5x for 3.
With a snake tattoo covering her back, this warrior offers free spins when appearing 3 or more times on the reels.
Barely clothed and wearing a purple ribbon in her hair, this icon triggers the bonus when landing at least 3 times on the reels.
The symbols graphics are the best aspect to this game since they create dynamic characters.
These graphics are so good that they could appear in an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 game, despite this slot being created several years ago.
Our favorite symbols include the warrior princess, warrior in a wife beater, and wild symbol. But all of the character symbols look good.
The lone complaint we have is the letters/numbers, which are red and - just like the background - better suited for a horror game.
Hot G Slot Bonus Features
Another great aspect of Hot G is that it offers three progressive jackpots, up to 15 free spins, and a second screen bonus. Here's a closer look at what to expect from each of these elements.
When you trigger free games with the snake tattooed woman, a voice announces yells out free spins while the words flash on the screen.
You'll receive 15 free games for 5 symbols, 10 for 4, and 5 for 3. A box appears in the lower right hand corner to show how many spins you have remaining and your total win.
The bonus features a large picture of the woman with a snake tattoo on her back. She's lying on her side, and you're prompted to pick flashing red marks on her back to reveal your bonus prize.
If you choose a spot with a prize, you get to continue picking. When you select a skull, the bonus ends and your winnings are tallied up.
While no doubt an interesting bonus round, choosing points on a woman's tattooed back confuses us about the game's theme. Hot G could instead have a bonus that's closely related to warriors.
Regardless, it's still fun to play this round, and we guarantee that you haven't seen anything like it before.
The three progressive jackpots in this game include the Mega, Minor, and Mini Jackpots. They're worth the following amounts at the time of this review:
Mega Jackpot = $1,310,157 Minor Jackpot = 660,078 Mini Jackpot = $436,719
As you can see, even the smallest jackpot is worth a life changing sum of money. And we've noticed that 777igt's progressive jackpots increase quickly because they're popular.
Pay lines can be changed to 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 lines, while coin size can be adjusted from $0.01 to $1.20. This makes the minimum bet worth $0.10, and the max wager worth $60.00.
You can change the volume with the speaker button in the upper left hand corner. This offers a sliding bar that allows you to get the volume exactly where you want it.
One other option includes using auto spin to automatically spin the reels for between 10 and infinity spins. The infinity choice is great for when you want to keep the reels spinning without having to revisit the auto spin option.
We played Hot G for around 300 spins, and the win frequency was average for a 50 pay line slot machine.
We experienced losing streaks where we'd go 3 5 spins without earning anything, which is bad for a 50 line game.
But Hot G's redeeming quality is in how often you trigger scatter payouts, bonus rounds, and free spins. Like other 777igt slots, this game offers bonuses and scatter payouts at a much higher frequency than what's seen with other slot machines.
Thanks to these extra payouts, we recouped most of our losses and ended up dropping $2 on the session.
Hot G features standard rules for a 5 reel slot machine, which you can see below:
- All payouts are made from left to right, beginning with the leftmost reel.
- The only exceptions include scatter and bonus symbols, which trigger rewards from anywhere on the reels.
- The Mega, Minor, and Mini Jackpots can only be won with 5 respective symbols in an active pay line.
- Wins are multiplied by your coin size to determine payouts. Here's an example: if you bet $0.10 per line and win 100 coins, you'll receive a $10 payout.
- Free spins are played at the triggering number of lines and coin size.
Comparison to Similar Slot Machines
We've lumped Baby G and Warrior G together just to show how they compare to Hot G. For another comparison, we've chosen Isoftbet's Heavy Metal Warriors to show how a different slots provider does this genre.
One interesting thing about Baby G, Hot G, and Warrior G is that they share some of the same symbols. In fact, the warrior princess appears as the Mega Jackpot symbol in all three games.
The only problem is that there's no story progression as you move between these slots, making it difficult to tell which game came first.
These three slot machines also share the same features, meaning no game has a clear advantage here.
One division comes with the backgrounds since Baby G puts you in a boiler room, while Warrior G has an ugly red background. Hot G has a plain background, ranking it in the middle in this department.
The one area where Hot G holds a clear advantage is its music, which both matches its theme and sounds good.
Overall, it's hard to say that one slot is better than the other in the G series. We feel that if you've played one of them, you've played them all.
A 5 reel, 243 ways slot, Heavy Metal Warriors takes you to a desolate land where female warriors reside. Despite the rough terrain, the background graphics are excellent and look far better than Hot G's solid black background.
True to the title, you'll hear heavy metal music whenever you spin the reels. This adds an entertaining twist to this slot, but it's not entirely reflective of the background and symbols.
Speaking of the symbols, they include several female warriors and letters / numbers. Although the symbols look good, they don't compare to the stellar design of Hot G's characters.
As for features, you can trigger a pick me bonus and expanding wilds with re spins. While these are solid features, we like Hot G's mix of jackpots, free spins, and a bonus round.
In summary, Heavy Metal Warriors will impress you initially due to its excellent background graphics, unique theme, and rock music. But when you look at everything that Hot G has to offer, these slot machines are even.
Hot G isn't a game that's going to immediately appeal to you.
As mentioned before, the atmosphere feels more like a vampire or werewolf slot machine. And the plain black background doesn't offer any support for the female warrior theme.
But once you get past these downsides, Hot G has some good qualities.
The positive aspects start with the symbols, which could appear in any top quality RPG. We also like how this game offers 10 different warrior and Asian women characters.
Other benefits to playing Hot G include three progressive jackpots, free spins, and a second screen bonus. The bonus is weird since you pick spots on a woman's snake tattoo, but it still offers a breather from the reels.
Given Hot G's positives and negatives, it's not going to be your favorite slot of all time. But this game has enough good qualities to make it worth trying once.
