WWE Backlash France Odds

Sites like BetOnline have competitive WWE odds on all the matches scheduled for this weekend’s PLE. Here is the current match card for WWE Backlash France.

  • Randy Orton and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga)
  • The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) (c) vs. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships
  • Bayley (c) vs. Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship
  • Damian Priest (c) vs. Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • Cody Rhodes (c) vs. AJ Styles for the Undisputed WWE Championship

Four titles are on the line, and two new WWE stars are set to take huge steps forward in tag team action. Jade Cargill has a chance to win her first title in the WWE. Tama Tonga, on the other hand, will be making his in-ring debut with the company.

Let’s take a closer look at the current WWE odds for this PLE, with odds courtesy of BetOnline.

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline

  • Randy Orton and Kevin Owens (+550)
  • The Bloodline (-1000)

The only non-title match currently scheduled for WWE Backlash France is a tag team matchup pitting Randy Orton and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline. Solo Sikoa and the debuting Tama Tonga, the only two active members of the group, will represent The Bloodline.

Sikoa emphasized the importance of winning when he kicked his brother, Jimmy Uso, out of the group following WrestleMania XL. Solo is being presented as the new leader of the group that used to run the WWE. The Bloodline needs a win to reestablish credibility, so it is unsurprising that they are listed as the -1000 favorites.

Orton and Owens are two veterans who will not be hurt by another PLE loss. The duo put over Logan Paul at WrestleMania, and I think they will do the same here for Solo and Tonga.

Prediction: The Bloodline (-1000)

The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill

  • The Kabuki Warriors (c) (+600)
  • Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill (-1500)

The Kabuki Warriors currently hold one of the longest active title reigns in WWE. Asuka and Kairi Sane won the titles in January, but oddsmakers are predicting their reign will come to an end. They are listed as +600 underdogs against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.

Belair and Cargill are the only challengers favored to win this weekend. The WWE has been patient with Cargill, using her sparingly and avoiding singles matches.

She made her debut at the Royal Rumble and did not compete again until she appeared in a six-woman tag match at WrestleMania. Belair was one of her teammates in that match, while Asuka and Sane were two of their three opponents.

Winning the tag titles, especially with a veteran and former champion like Belair, will help establish Cargill even more. I think Cargill and Belair will win, and Cargill will pick up her first title in the WWE.

Prediction: Bianca Blair and Jade Cargill (-1500)

Bayley (c) vs. Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton

  • Bayley (c) (-1500)
  • Tiffany Stratton (+600)
  • Naomi (+1200)

Three new champions that were crowned at WrestleMania will defend their titles this week. Bayley has the toughest test, taking on Tiffany Stratton and Naomi in a triple-threat match.

Stratton interfered in a championship match between Naomi and Bayley, setting up this PLE matchup. In theory, Bayley could lose her belt without being pinned or submitted in this match.

Despite that disadvantage, Bayley is a -1500 favorite in her first PLE title defense of her new championship reign. Stratton has the second-best odds at +600, with Namoi rounding out the field at +1200. I believe Stratton will have a good showing, but Bayley should pick up the win this weekend.

Prediction: Bayley (-1500)

Damian Priest (c) vs. Jey Uso

  • Damian Priest (c) (-4000)
  • Jey Uso (+1000)

Another newly crowned champion putting their title on the line this weekend is Damien Priest. The World Heavyweight Champion will attempt to defend his belt against Jey Uso.

Sports betting sites have Priest listed at -4000 to win this weekend, making him tied as the biggest favorite on the card. The other champion listed at -4000 this weekend is Cody Rhodes.

Priest is now the de facto leader of The Judgement Day since Reha Ripley is out injured. There have been some cracks showing in the faction, but Priest should be able to hold it together for the foreseeable future.

Uso is being pushed as a top babyface and will win a singles title eventually, but I think it is too soon for Priest to lose the belt. Priest should win, but Uso should still benefit from being in a prime spot on this PLE.

Prediction: Damian Priest (-4000)

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. AJ Styles

  • Cody Rhodes (c) (-4000)
  • AJ Styles (+1000)

Cody Rhodes also won gold at WrestleMania, dethroning Roman Reigns and ending his more than 1,300-day reign as champion. Rhodes is a -4000 favorite heading into this weekend’s matchup with AJ Styles (+1000).

Style has been feuding with LA Knight since the start of the year. Styles interfered in the Elimination Chamber, hitting Knight with a chair and leading to his elimination. The two squared off at WrestleMania, and Knight beat Styles.

Styles currently has the upper hand, though, defeating Knight to earn this title opportunity. Given their history, I would not be surprised if Knight found a way to cost Styles this match.

Even if Knight does not interfere, Rhodes should come out on top. Rhodes was built up as the next big thing for over a year, so I do not think Styles will beat him, especially this early in his reign.

Prediction: Cody Rhodes (-4000)
